Emami Limited is one of the prominent FMCG companies in India which is engaged in producing & selling healthcare products & personal care products. It was started on March 11, 1983. It includes brands such as BoroPlus, Navratna Fair & Handsome, Zandu Balm & Menthol Plus. The product categories of Emami comprise skin creams, hair care, soaps, & lotions, & ayurvedic healthcare products. It has attained the heritage brand Zandu based on the enormous business synergy between the two brand portfolios.

Emami products are obtainable in various retail outlets across India & its global impression range across 60 countries, including the SAARC & GCC Europe Africa CIS countries. It has eight manufacturing units across India. It has ultra-modern manufacturing facilities at Guwahati, Kolkata, Pantnagar, Silvassa, Talasari, & Vapi. They have adopted the Total Quality Management system & each of their manufacturing facilities has acquired ISO 9001:2000 certifications & cGMP.

In 1978: It manufactured different types of health care items & toiletries based on Ayurvedic preparation. After that, it launched its 1st flagship brands Boroplus Antiseptic Cream. Boroplus is one of the largest marketing Antiseptic Cream in India & has existence in Ukraine, Russia, & Nepal.
In 2005, it launched its product Fair & Handsome, the 1st fairness cream for men in India. It also manufactured brands such as Sona Chandi Chyawanprash, Navratna, Menthoplus & Fast Relief.
In 2011: It has attained skincare technology.
In 2012: Brand Equity Most Trusted Brand has ranked Emami power brands Fair and Handsome, Zandu balm, Boroplus, & Navratna among the top brands in the nation. It also relaunched its Fast Relief Brand.
