Supreme Holdings was incorporated on April 15, 1982 as a private limited company. The company was acquired as going concern by the JATIA group in the year 1987.
The company became public limited company pursuant to resolution passed in the Extra Ordinary General Meeting held on March 21, 1994. It entered into capital market with its maiden public issue in the year 1995.
Supreme Holdings was engaged in non banking financial activities. Considering the vast opportunities available in the Hospitality Industry, the company has entered the new business of development and running of Hotels and Resorts. It is discontinuing financial activities in the phased manner.
In order to have a strong foothold in the hospitality industry and focus more on the new business activities, the company is discontinuing the existing business activity of leasing, finance and investment in the phased manner and deregister the company as NBFC with Reserve Bank of India.
Services & Business Activities
The company has entered the new business activity of development and running of Hotels and Resorts and has also obtained shareholders approval in this regard.
Presently, the company has proposed to develop one resort project at Panvel near Mumbai. It is in process of land acquisition for the said resort project.
