Barbeque-Nation Hospitality Limited was originally started on October 13, 2006, as
Sanchi Hotels Private Limited at Indore Madhya Pradesh as a private limited
company. Thereafter, the Company name was converted to Barbeque-Nation
Hospitality Private Limited on February 18, 2008. The name was changed to place
with the principal business of the Company. Subsequently, the Company was
changed into a public limited company and the company’s name was converted to
Barbeque-Nation Hospitality Limited on March 4, 2008.
The Company owns and runs Barbeque Nation Restaurants one of India's foremost
casual dining restaurant chains as per the Technopak Report. The 1 st Barbeque
Nation Restaurant was set up in 2005 by one of the promoters- Sayaji Hotels. In
2012, 5 Barbeque Nation Restaurants owned by Sayaji Hotels were transferred to
the company.
MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS
▪ Jubilant Foodworks to attain a 10.76% stake in Barbeque-Nation Hospitality.
▪ CX Partners acquired a stake in the Company followed by further accretion of
an additional stake in 2015.
