The Nifty Realty Index, comprising of 10 real estate companies listed on the National Stock Exchange of India, hit a 10-year high on 2nd August 2021 after close to a decade of underperformance.
Nifty Realty index increased by 4.79% and touched its all-time high of 417.75.
Out of 10 stocks 6 stocks touched its all-time high on the account of increased property registrations in Mumbai jumped to 10-year high, improved Quarter numbers and improved outlook.
Private equity investment in the sector and Warren Buffett’s global residential real estate brokerage - Berkshire Hathaway entry into the Indian property market which helped to lift sentiments further.
