Ramky Infrastructure Limited (RIL) is the flagship company of the Ramky Group, one of the leading civil and infrastructure engineering companies in India. Established in 1994 and headquartered in Hyderabad with five zonal offices and three regional offices throughout India, the name of the company, when it was incorporated, was Ramky Engineers Private Limitedand then got changed to Ramky Infrastructure Private Limited in the year 2003.
RIL has been involved in water and waste water projects, transportation projects, irrigation projects, industrial projects and parks (including SEZs), power transmission and distribution projects, residential, commercial and retail property developments and a transport terminal development. RIL also has a panel of consultants who have proven their expertise in various fields of civil and infrastructure engineering. A highly advanced, optimized operations model ensures timely, efficient and cost-effective deliveries to clients. RIL has track record of executing projects with almost all major customers in public as well as private sectors in India. The large list of satisfied customers has resulted in repeated orders and several awards and appreciations to the organization. RIL has an annual turnover in excess of Rs. 1459 crore and carries a strong work force of 1500 qualified and dedicated manpower.
RIL is poised to become a world class billion dollar company by 2011. RIL operates in two principal business segments: (i) Construction business, which is operated by the company, and (ii) Developer business, which comprises nine subsidiaries and associates. In addition to construction business and developer business, the company’s 100% owned subsidiary in the United Arab Emirates, operates a small consultancy business.

1998: Spread wings into other segments like buildings, irrigation, roads & industrial structures. • Crossed Rs. 100 crores revenue mark.
2002: Set up offices at Ahmedabad, Delhi & Bangalore establishing pan india presence moving from regional to national level operations.
2003: Name changed to Ramky Infrastructure Private Limited. Converted into limited company with a name Ramky Infrastructure Limited. Signed concession agreement with Mussori Dehra Dun Authority for construction of first of its kind inter-state bus terminal and commercial complex on BOT basis under Public-Private Partnership scheme. Incorporated Ramky MDDA IS Bus Terminal Limited -- a Special Purpose Vehicle to carry out the construction of ISBT.
2004: Signed concession agreement with Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Limited for development of first Pharma City in India at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh on BOT basis under Public-Private Partnership scheme. Incorporated Ramky Pharma City (India) Limited - a Special Purpose Vehicle to carry out the development of Pharma City.
2005: Awarded ' Best Contractor' award by the Government of Rajasthan. Awarded 'Outstanding Concrete Structure Award for the year 2005' by Indian Concerete Institute for Gandhi Medical College and Hospital complex at Hyderabad. Signed an agreement with Andhra Pradesh Housing Board for the development of integrated housing project at Gachibowli. Signed an agreement with Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board for construction of Asia's largest sewage treatment plant (172 MLD) with Uplift anaerobic sludge blanket process at Nagole, Hyderabad.
2006: Received ISO -9001:2000 certification for the west zone from BVQI. Crossed Rs.500 crores revenue mark. Forayed into power transmission lines segment. Completed the Paryatak Bhavan Complex in Hyderabad, a one of its kind Tourism Plaza in India, with a 3 star hotel, reception lobbies, ITDC counters, ATM, etc. Set up a wholly owned subsidiary at Sharjah Free Trade Zone. Signed an agreement with Andhra Pradesh Housing Board for the development of integrated housing project at Warangal. Incorported Gwalior Bypass Project Limited - a subsidiary to carry out the construction of bypass road at Gwalior. Dec-06 PE investment by SAPE and IL&FS funds
2007: Incorporated Ramky Towers Limited - a subsidiary to carry out the development of integrated housing project at Gachibowli. Incorporated Ramky Enclave Limited - a subsidiary to carry out the development of integrated housing project at Warangal. Signed concession agreement with HMDA for the development and construction of the 8 lane outer ring road for a stretch of 12.6 kms on BOOT basis under Public-Private Partnership scheme. Incorporated Ramky Hyderabad Ring Road Limited - a Special Purpose Vehicle to carry out the construction of outer ring road. Signed concession agreement with Chattisgarh Industrial Development Corporation for setting up of Food Park. Signed concession agreement with Chhattisgarh Industrial Development Corporation for setting up of Gems & Jewellery Park. Signed concession agreement with Chattisgarh Industrial Development Corporation for setting up of Medicinal & Herbal Park Implements Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning into the operation. Inauguration of 750 bedded Hospital Building,Hostel, Staff quarters and ancillary structures for Rajiv Gandhi Institute of medical sciences, Kadapa by Ms.Sonia Gandhi,Congress Party President.
2008: Signed concession agreement with Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation for setting up Agro Processing Park.Ramky Infrastructure Ltd. -- 80 MLD STP at AiroIi, Navi Mumbai Project has bagged the Essar Steel - Infrastructure Excellence Awards in the category of Urban Infrastructure given by CNBC TV18 & Essar Steel. • Received ISO 9001:2000 certification for the entire operations on 19th Feb'08 from TUV Nord. Received 'Best Project Award for the year 2007-08 from Central Public Works Department - Government of India for Married Accomadation Project at Amritsar Military Station. Crossed Rs.1000 crore revenue mark.
2009: Inauguration of Asia's largest sewage treatment plant (172 MLD) with Uplift anaerobic sludge blanket process at Nagole, Hyderabad by Rajashekar Reddy,Chief Minister of AP. Signed an agreement with Government of Andhra Pradesh,Irrigation & CAD Department for Package No. 7 Dummugudem Nagarjunasagar Project Tail pond Link Canal – E.W.E & F.E. for Gravity Canal from 115 to Km. 182 i.e. from near Bayyaram (v) to near Tirumalagiri (v) on N.H. 9 to carry 20000 cusecs upto km. 169.80 and 19000 cusecs beyond Km. 169.80 including CC Lining and CM & CD works with a contract value of Rs. 507 crore. Signed an agreement with Andhra Pradesh Health & Medical Housing & Infrastructure Devolopment Corporation for Construction of Buildings for Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies IIIT at Nuziveedu in Krishna District with a contract value of Rs.250 crore. Signed an agreement with Hyderabad Growth Corridor Limited for Construction of Eight Lane Access Controlled Expressway as Outer Ring Road to Hyderabad City in the stretches from Patancheru - Shamirpet Km. 23+700 to Km 35+000 Patancheru - Mallampet with the contract value of Rs.324 crore. Signed an agreement with the Municipal Corporation of City of Thane for providing, laying and commissioning of RCC NP3 Pipe gravity sewer along with construction of Manholes for sewerage network under sewerage zone for PS-3& PS- 5 in Thane City, Design Construction Supply erection testing commissioning seven sewage pumping stations (PS1 to PS3 & PS5 to PS8) of average capacity ranging from 5.69 MLD to 70.24 MLD and Rising Main at various locations in Thane City Sewage Treatment Plant of Capacity 120 MLD at Kopri Thane with the contract value of Rs.194 crore. Signed an agreement with Government of Andhra Pradesh,Irrigation & CAD Department for Constructionof Sluices,Cross Masonry & Cross Drainage works lining for the reach from Km.0.500 to Km.15.00 (KARJALLI) of the proposed barrage A/c River Pranahitha near Tummidi Hetti (V),Koutala (M),Adilabad District with the contract value of Rs.229 crore. Crossed Rs.1400 crores revenue mark. Inauguration of 80 MLD STP at AiroIi, Navi Mumbai Project by Mr. Sharad Pawar, Union Minister for Agriculture & also President of the Nationalist Congress Party.
