Overview

Entertainment Network (India) (ENIL), was incorporated in June 1999.It is a subsidiary of Bennett, Coleman & Company Limited (BCCL)- the flagship company of the Times of India Group, was incorporated in 1999. ENIL operates in radio broadcasting under the brand “Radio Mirchi”. Radio Mirchi is the No. 1 Radio Station in India with more than 63 million listeners across the country.  Radio Mirchi has a track record of developing innovative content, thus expanding and retaining its audiences and advertisers through the years Radio Mirchi made its international foray with the launch of the brand in the UAE in 2012. With this, Radio Mirchi was the first Indian radio brand to go international.

 It is one of the leading entertainment and media company having its presence in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Pune, Indore, Ahmedabad Bangalore, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Patna and Jalandhar.

ENIL has a 100% owned subsidiary Times Innovative Media ('TIM') that operates under the brand name “Times OOH” and has a wide set of Out of Home media properties across the key Indian cities.

In 2012 -India's largest FM Station Radio Mirchi joined hands with aDubai based Cricket Radio to make it's ICC World Cup programming more interesting.

Awards

The company won a gold medal in Best Activity Generating Brand Loyalty at Promotion Marketing Awards of Asia (PMAA) - 2004.

It won Best Jingle in English-Radio Mirchi at 28th RAPA Awards - Radio and TV Advertising Practitioners Association of India.

It was awarded ITC Kolkata Trophy 2005 Consumer Connect Awards for the promotional campaign “Bappi Da Gyan'.

The company’s '983 - Kismat Khol De' contest won the gold medal for best activity generating brand loyalty at the Promotion Marketing Awards of Asia - 2004.

The company was awarded the FICCI - Frames Excellence Award 2010 for the Most Successful Radio Channel of the Year - Radio Mirchi was the ONLY radio station to receive an award from FICCI.

Radio Mirchi received 8 awards at the 5th India Radio Forum (IRF). This included 4 awards for our RJs out of a total of 7 RJs who were acknowledged.

The company was awarded the Most Popular Radio Channel amongst Youth at the 2nd Global Youth Marketing Forum.

It also received the CMO Council Brand Leadership Award.
