Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd runs the petroleum industry in India. It is a private limited company incorporated on November 3, 1952, with the name Burmah Shell Refineries Ltd. It started working on the marshland of Trombay at Bombay. It operates in a single division, i.e. Refinery & Marketing activities which contain the downstream petroleum sector. It is also engaged in the Exploration & Production of Hydrocarbons. Its infrastructure includes a network of installations, retail outlets, LPG distributors, aviation service stations, & BPCL share price and stock analysis.
