AVT Natural Products (AVT NPL) was incorporated in 1986 as AV Thomas Industrial Product. The company is promoted by Mr.Ajit Thomas. Being part of AV Thomas Group, the company is engaged in manufacturing of food safe natural flavour and colour production.
AVT Natural Products is the largest exporter of Marigold oleoresins in the world. Company has formed strategic alliance with Ball Helix, USA who is the world’s best Marigold seed company; and Kemin Health, USA, the world's largest customer for nutraceutical grade marigold oleoresin. Company started marigold cultivation on a land area of 200 acres, which has grown to 35,000 acres. This produces 100,000 metric tones of flowers.
Company has received ISO 9001- 2000 and ISO 22000:2005 for its quality management.
Natural Flavours-Company manufactures a spectrum of products extracted from fresh and roasted spices. These flavours are widely used in Curries, Chutneys, Pickles and Spicy food
Natural Colour- Company manufactures paprika oleoresin, turmeric extracts and marigold extract. These products are used by food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic manufacturing companies.
Essential oils- Company extracts essential oil from black pepper, celery, ginger, nutmeg, white pepper and nutmace through steamed distillation process. These oils are used by food, beverage, cosmetic and perfume industries.
Antioxidants- Under this company manufactures rosemary extract and green tea.
Speciality products- Under this company manufactures High ABR oleoresin paprika, afla free oleoresin capsicum, deodorized paprika oleoresin and nutraceutical grade curcumin – 95.
The manufacturing facilities are located in Tumkur and Bydagi in Karnataka, Sathyamangalam in Tamil Nadu, Hindupur in Andhra Pradesh, Chichkeda in Madhya Pradesh, and Aluva in Kerala. The company has an extraction capacity of 15,000 MTPA of marigold meal, 6,000 MTPA of paprika pericarp, and 1,000 MTPA of multiproducts.
