Advanta India (AIL) was incorporated in 1994 as an associate company of United Phosphorus (UPL). It is part of one of the largest Indian Agrochemical Group having at turnover of Rs. 3500 Crores.
AIL was earlier known as ITC Zeneca, a joint venture with ITC and Zeneca. The company is engaged in providing crop solution for crops like rice, sunflower, maize, millets and mustard.
It has research and development centres are located in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Vapi, Sonepat and Katraine.
Products
Rice- Under this it has developed products such as PAC 801, PAC 807, PAC 809, PAC 832, etc. Its products have various features such as early maturity, provides high yield and highly adaptable.
Sunflower- It develops sunflower seeds that have high oil content, suitable to Indian climate and early maturity yield. It has developed products such as PAC 309, PAC 336, PAC 3376, PAC 36 etc.
Maize- It has developed seeds that products different kinds of maize such as Premier, Scorpio and Missile. Under this it has products like PAC 712, PAC 740, PAC 784, etc.
Millets- It has developed products like PAC 501, PAC 509, PAC 533, PAC 537, etc.
Mustard- Under this it develops seeds which has high oil content, high yield, resistant to white rust and has developed products such as PAC 401, PAC 402, CORAL 432.
