The current quarter witnessed steep increases in commodity prices (Copper, Steel, Aluminum, PVC, Fuel, etc.) as also some supply chain constraints on imported material. Thus, while volumes climbed, so did the costs.
Revenue for the quarter was Rs. 94.1 billion, an improvement of 2.8% QoQ, aided by pick up in the economic activities and easing of lockdown/restrictions induced by severe second wave of COVID, which impacted Q1FY22.
Consolidated revenue increased 7% YoY led by 31% growth in the Consumer Products (CP) segment to Rs 1035 crore. EPC (Engineering, Procurement and construction) segment revenues was down 37% YoY to Rs 268 crore.
